Organically farmed by Oxhill Organics at Wauchope (Near Port Macquarie) - the same farm that our Hastings Valley milk comes from! Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Preservative Free. Ingredients: Grass-fed Beef (93%), Gluten free preservative free sausage meal (rice flour, salt, spice extract) 7%. All animals on the farm benefit from the organic farming methods, including diverse, nutritious pasture rotation. Cows are strictly pasture fed, while the diet of the pigs and chickens is supplemented by organic grain. Studies show that grass fed meat is higher in the healthy Omega 3 fat. This is attested to in the great taste of our meat. Once ready, pigs and cows are butchered at a local butcher. The chickens are processed at a certified processing facility.

Once mature, these hens enjoy daily access to organic pastures, living a natural lifestyle with fresh air, sunshine, exercise, and a diet of organic food. Their diet is supplemented with organic grain to ensure they’re well-nourished.

The hens are rotated to fresh pasture regularly to enhance soil health and manage pests naturally. They are safeguarded with electric fencing to keep them safe from predators. A fourth-generation family farm, Oxhill Organics has been certified organic since 2003. Their egg production, introduced in 2010, complements their sustainable farming system perfectly.

The superior taste and rich colour of Oxhill’s eggs come entirely from the hens’ natural diet and lifestyle, without any artificial additives or colourants.
