Certified Organic. High in vitamin C, these little babies are are great addition to a salad or stir fry, or when sliced make the perfect ring for our morning fried egg. The red variety is also rich in beta carotene which the body converts to vitamin A. Vitamin A is important for healthy skin, boosts the immune system, and aids vision. Technically speaking, a capsicum is classified as a fruit - but as foodies, we like to group it together with other savoury delights, so here we are choosing to classify it as a vegetable - we hope you don't mind :)

It's hard to beat a ripe tomato, sliced in half with a generous sprinkle of good salt. We often keep a tomato sauce in the fridge too, which we make simply by frying off some onion and garlic with olive oil, and adding a bucket of overripe tomatoes. In a couple of hours she's ready and we've got tomato sauce for the week! Tomatoes are one of the lowest calorie vegetables around, they are also very low in fat contents and have zero cholesterol levels. They are an excellent source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, minerals, and vitamins.
