How to Cook?
If in doubt you can cook these mushrooms the same way you would cook button mushrooms.
Here are some great cooking tips that make them even more delicious though:
• Always cook mushrooms on a medium heat (not high) for longer, around 10-15 minutes. It cooks them down more thoroughly and gives you a better flavour.
• Fry or sauté them in butter and/or oil with tasty accompaniments such as shallots, garlic, herbs and salt and pepper to season.
• Lion's Mane - dry fry this mushroom for a few minutes with no oil/butter to remove excess water. Then cook as normal according to your preference.
