- 3 tablespoons Chef's Choice Organic Popping Corn
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or olive oil
- A large pot with a lid
- Optional: salt, butter, or your favourite toppings
- Heat things up — Add your oil to a large pot over medium-high heat. Drop in 2–3 kernels and put the lid on. When those test kernels pop, the party's started.
- Add the corn — Pour in the rest of your kernels, give the pot a little shake to coat them in oil, and replace the lid.
- Shake it, baby — Every 30 seconds or so, give the pot a gentle shake to keep things moving and avoid any burnt stragglers.
- Listen closely — When the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, take it off the heat. Don't walk away — the line between perfect and burnt is razor thin!
- Season and devour — Tip into a big bowl and go wild. Classic salted butter? Yes. Cinnamon sugar? Absolutely. Nutritional yeast and chilli flakes? You foodie genius, you.
