Organic Meat

Bello Beef

Our beef comes from Levenvale Organic Farm, just 10 minutes north of Bello on Hydes Creek Road. It doesn't get more local than that. The farm is certified organic (OFC #0818).

Bello Beef is regenerative, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. The cattle graze on diverse pasture their whole lives, with no grain, chemicals, synthetics or hormones. This regenerative approach also builds healthier soil and more plant diversity.

The farm is run by Sam and George Baker. Sam is a fourth-generation farmer from Moonie, QLD. The couple have been farming organically together since 2010 and took over Levenvale in 2019.

Better tasting, better for you, better for the planet.

Why is the farm certified but Bello Beef & Patch Chicken aren't?

Oxhill Organics

Oxhill is a certified organic farm in Wauchope on the Mid North Coast. The same family has run it for four generations. Their animals are raised to natural rhythms, with welfare and quality at the core. Oxhill is best known for its pasture-ranged chicken, a trusted favourite since 2011. The farm also produces organic milk and other organic meats.

The Patch Organic chickens are free to express their full “chicken-ness”, feeding and scratching on pasture on Levenvale Farm.

To supplement their free range feeding, the chooks are fed a certified organic chicken feed from an Australian owned feed mill near casino called SOFT Agriculture that grows their own inputs. It’s a mix that includes biochar for gut and soil health.

The chickens feed and nurture the soil which in turn feeds and nurtures the chooks, creating a highly nutritious bird that will feed and nurture you! The proof is in the taste, the best flavoured chicken you’ll try.
