Deva Raw Chocolate - Mint & Nibs

Peppermint and dark chocolate are old friends, and Deva Cacao pairs them beautifully. Organic peppermint oil lifts a smooth, deep 78% raw cacao. Raw cacao nibs run through every square, adding a nutty crunch. It's fresh rather than sweet, so it works as the square after dinner that actually finishes the meal.

Like everything Deva makes, there's no refined sugar in it. The only sweetener is raw Australian honey, which gives a soft, rounded finish.

Deva is made by hand in Bellingen, just up the road, by husband-and-wife team Maggie and Ming. They make what they describe as Australia's first tempered raw chocolate, and their range has collected several medals at the national Clean + Conscious Awards. Each bar is wrapped in certified home-compostable film inside a recycled card box, illustrated by Coffs Coast artist Alyson Pearson.

Dietary: Free from dairy, soy, refined sugar and artificial colours, flavours and preservatives (producer statement). Contains honey, so not vegan.
